A few weeks ago I had the joy of photographing one of the prettiest winter weddings I’ve ever been to. I’ve known the bride, Jessika, since she was an adorable pre-teen with braces and I’ve watched her grow into a gorgeous young lady. Jess is a free spirit with an infectious laugh, amazing dark brown eyes and a smile that lights up the room. When her best friend introduced her to Josh at a race in Bristol, Tn the sparks flew and their love story began. Josh is just as charming as Jess is beautiful. Originally from Virginia, Josh is a perfect reflection of a southern gentleman. His quiet, easy going manner is the ideal compliment to Jess’s outgoing southern sass. When the two of them look at one another they just about melt!
The wedding took place in the elegant small church the couple attends. Gorgeous stained glass reflected the shimmering Christmas lights that glowed on the trees, perfectly decorated by Kristy, the brides mother. I loved meeting the sweet, fun loving relatives on both sides of the family; one of my personal favorites had to be Josh’s grandfather who had never been out of the state of Virginia before this very special occasion.
After a flawless wedding ceremony everyone headed downtown to the Renaissance Hotel for the reception. This was the perfect night to begin the rest of their lives as Mr. and Mrs Wyatt. The food was amazing, the laughter was loud, the music was upbeat, and the love was definitely felt. It was such an honor to be a small part of their special day. Josh and Jess, I love you two and I am so very happy for you! You have an incredible future ahead. Congratulations! Here are a few of your photos from the night.
